Abstract

A developmental educator applies a prominent theory of college student development, Arthur Chickering's (1969; Chickering & Reisser, 1993) Seven Vectors of College Student Development, to her own growth as a freshman at Iowa State University, and to that of the first-year students she has taught, counseled, and advised.
